Hey, Look! Is That a BUD?!?!

Why, YES! Yes it is! Won't be long now to that little bud becomes a full blown flower! I predict it will be ready to blossom by Friday the 15th, because THAT is the day we get the keys to our kingdom...okay, I really meant "QUEENdom."

This week is going to be incredibly busy. Personally and Business-wise. Personally, I get my biweekly allergy shots, and the results of my MRI from Thursday, and possibly back to the PT 3x wk depending on the MRI findings. I sort of suspect that I will be referred to my Orthopedic guy... finally!

Business-wise. Ready for this?
1. Call UGI, PPL, and Verizon to set everything in motion for Friday.
2. Visit the City of Harrisburg to apply for all permits and licenses that had to wait for the Lease go ahead.
3. Get breakdown and schedule of work from our contractor
4. Open the bank accts by depositing the loan check and meet with the Merchant Services rep for Credit and Debit card processing.
5. Meet the Insurance Agent
6. Meet the Small Business Counselor at HACC.
7. Order our computer and POS equipment.
8. Get our Tax id from PA
9. Create a sensible Consignor Contract and then get in touch with everyone who has so kindly offered to be in on this thing!
10. Work through some ideas for the Logo and Signage
11. SIGN THE LEASE!!! YAAAAAYYYY!!

This is simply this week, Monday through Friday. As soon as we have the key the REAL fun begins! We get into the building and can start physically working! So, as soon as I have a better grasp on the contractor's time frame as well as what's happening with my knee and such, we will start the Crafting Calls. Look for something to be set up for the week of the 17th, if all goes well. We'd love to do something during ArtsFest. Hope everyone has their thinking caps on and have started to look at things through a new set of eyes!
